Prayer Request

Please pray for this person who emailed me that is suffering from a great temptation.

I found you on the Internet. I am not Catholic, but I love asking the saints to aid me in prayer. A huge issue is overeating. I was wondering if there is a saint who prays for gluttons. I am a 64 year old woman. I love Jesus alot! I like what you said on your post about taking a little opportunity to fast (September 30). I do fast at Lent and Advent. What I am struggling with is eating too much food during the day. I think that your post was speaking to that issue. I have been to Weight Watchers (when I was young--that was the way I kept my weight down), Overeaters Anonymous (a very good 12 step program), looked at this with counseling and inner healing . I have had alot of those due to childhood issues. Still, I lose this battle every day. At times I say to myself, "Don't take that bite, just turn to Him." That seems to be important. I don't even need to drink 0 cal. stuff like my beloved hot tea. I don't think anyone in OA ever understood when I said that I needed to resist using my mouth even for a drink of tea.
