Sainthood Challenge: Final Challenge

42 days.

42 weeks.

Either way, to have completed the entire challenge is an accomplishment. Hopefully you have seen changes in your life in the way that you relate to God. Hopefully you have seen changes in the way that you relate to other people. Hopefully you have seen changes in the way that you relate to yourself.

The final challenge is simple.

It is now your turn.

What are the gifts that God is calling you to use to build his Kingdom? How can you use those gifts?

What can you do locally, in your own life, in order to encourage others to be saints? Is there some ministry that you see as a real need in your own parish life? Is there a way that your community could use your help as a living witness of the joy of Christ that is within you?

Perhaps your own sainthood project is small, just dealing with your own family and working to gently convert their hearts.

What would happen if 1000 people pursued sainthood and started their own project?

What would happen if 1000 people decided to sacrifice for others in their own lives and changed the world around them just a little bit by working with the Grace that Christ puts in their lives, in their souls, and in their hearts?

Some sainthood projects are going to be small. Some may be large. In the end, when we work with the Grace of God our fullest potential as children of God is realized.

People are healed.

Lives are changed.

Evangelization becomes part of our nature because of the way that we live.

If you feel that you need to go through the challenge again, or if there is a particular part of the challenge that you need to work on, feel free. Remember to have patience with yourself because God has given you a lifetime to work on this project that is sainthood.

Sainthood doesn't happen in a bubble. There are other people in the Body of Christ and Grace and love and Joy are all meant to be shared.

Congratulations!

Know that you are in my prayers.
